32. The Cottage
Back before Muskoka was the hugely populated place it is now, Muskoka was dotted here and there with cottages, from the massive to the tiny. Unlike today though, most were wooden clapboard dwellings and had a homey feel that just can't be matched by the modern structure. This small cottage was an outlier to the main building where my father spent much of his childhood years back in the very early 1900's, and where I spent much of my youth as well.It still looks as homey as it did back in the day, and I had a perfect, Autumn day to shoot it on. My thanks to the weather gods for that.
