29. Storm Warning
The north coast of the Bruce Peninsula can make for some spectacular water shots and sky photography. It is a go-to location for shooting either, and on this evening conditions were particularly good. It had been very hot and muggy for several days, but one could see from the sky for much of the afternoon a change was coming. I waited until close to sunset to start shooting, and the conditions didn't disappoint. With the setting sun turning the sunlit parts of the clouds all shades of pink and orange while the undersides became darker and darker in the shadows, a dramatic scene was unfolding before me. Shortly after sundown, these clouds had built to storm level and a pretty good thunderstorm ensued. More displays of power and drama in nature!
