05. Fire Through the Forest
A friend and I were hiking through Hardy Lake Provincial Park in Muskoka, Ontario one early summer morning, hoping to make the shoreline before the sun came up. On the way, we passed this small wetland adjacent the lake just as the sun crested the horizon and fired a red-orange glow through the trees to the east. Mornings like this make one glad to be up early.
